Being a young company with fire in our bellies it’s all hands on deck here at Zanui when we receive a shipment of new furniture. Hand-picked by our furniture buyer extraordinaire, Abbey Hart, the new lines feature exquisite marble top tables, must have armchairs and accent colours; just in time for a Spring clean at your place.
In order to get these products to you it takes a lot of love and a little sweat so I thought it was worth giving you a very sneaky behind-the-scenes look at this process in action. Firstly our containers arrive at the warehouse (and these things are big), then it is up to the team to assemble (where necessary), photograph and write about each of the beautiful pieces. With a few late nights, too much coffee and the help of one of our MD’s, the furniture was ready. While the other MD (in case you were wondering) was busy enjoying a Swedish Summer and looks all the better for it.
Our fully equipped photo studio, is manned (by the not-so-manly) Robyn Frazer who has come to us from the sandy shores of the Whitsundays where she spent her days snapping pics for the fashion and beauty industry; and we’re very glad to have her.
Once the manual labour was finished it was left to Robyn and I to create lifestyles to give you all a little inspiration for the new products. We concentrated on mixing patterns with colour in order to create a fun, relaxed and bright space as we head into Spring.
I styled the space with the Hamilton bedroom setting from Mercer Trading Co. (of which the bed now sits proudly in my home) with the gorgeous new coral chevron quilt from Aura by Tracie Ellis. While Robyn snapped away I busied myself adding the finishing touches to the room with the canvas provided from United Artworks and the rug from Rug Culture. From here it is up to our amazing writing team to spell out all the design features of the new products so they are ready for you to take home (just as I did).
