Are your coasters looking a little tattered and out of date? This 3-step DIY will upcycle your setting with coastal elegance…
Do you cringe at the thought of water marks on your coffee and side tables, but cringe even more at the thought of displaying your out-of-date coasters? This DIY is so simple, it’ll make your tables as chic as ever in just a matter of minutes!
Watch the video or follow the three simple steps below (you only need three things too!) for an easy and on-trend upcycle.
What you need:
- A glue gun
- Old coasters/cork pads
What to do:
- Start with a squeeze of glue in the centre of your coaster and place the start of your twine on it to set.
- Add more glue to the coaster as you wrap the twine around securely. Repeat until the entire surface is covered.
- When reaching the edge of the coaster, work with a generous amount of glue. Cut the twine and press the end of it so that no small threads are stray. Let it completely dry and then it’s ready to hold your icy glasses of water and fruity cocktails! 😉
