Tis the season for celebration. And it’s so much fun. But it can become little relentless if you don’t take care of yourself. An alcohol-free night provides a haven amidst all the revelry. Especially when it offers delicious homemade mulled cranberry!
Christmas parties, festive luncheons, catchups with friends, a cheeky Tuesday glass of bubbly that finds you belting out a Dolly Parton/Kenny Rodgers medley with Bob from Finance at 3am. No doubt about it – the jolly season is pretty darn fun. It’s irresistible. And inescapable!
With all the frivolity and the infallibly placed mistletoe and the flashing reindeer ears(?), it’s easy to let yourself run away with… let’s say yourself. (Sorry, Bob.) In the whirlwind that is the silly season, an alcohol-free night can seem an oxymoron. But it may just be our Obi-Wan Kenobi.*
*Random Star Wars reference: “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.” Leia. Respect.
