It’s the last day of our Christmas entertaining tips! We’re adding a little festive fragrance to your home with simple Christmas pomander and stove-top potpourri! A gorgeous final touch that celebrates the senses.

It’s the twelfth day of Christmas! Time to celebrate!! And with just 13 sleeps to the big day, there’s no time to be lost with your preparations.

In our series of entertaining tips, we’ve said cheers with Christmas cocktails, from Christmas Cake Martinis to Iced Egg Nog and non-alcoholic mulled wine. We’ve engaged in DIY decorating – using your photos for personalised Xmas decorations or upcycling old light globes with glitter(!).

We’ve treated your tummies to Italian Biscotti (an awesome edible gift), Roast Duck, and Celery + Parsnip Stuffing with Roasted Lemons.

We’ve dressed the table with festive centrepieces, and added a touch of the artisan to your cards + wrap with potato-stamped designs. There’s nothing left but to adorn your home with the scents of the season!

Pomander

A pomander makes a pretty + perfumed addition to your Christmas dinner spread or adorning your coffee or side tables. You can go to town with your designs and create your own sculptural art, or keep it simple and just add cloves.

Stove-top Christmas Pot Pourri

The scent of citrus married with cinnamon + cranberries adds festive accents to your home. Such a happy holiday fragrance!

1/2 cup fresh cranberries
1 orange (sliced)
4 cinnamon sticks (broken in half)
1 tbsp cloves
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2-3 cups water

Combine ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer over low heat for as long as desired. Add more water if it gets low.
