Want to see the best and bravest in Australian design? The Australian Interior Design Awards promise to showcase the latest and greatest work by our homegrown talent.

2014 Best of State Residential Design | Award: Marine Parade Apartment QLD, James Dawson Interiors

Co‐presented by the Design Institute of Australia, designEX and Artichoke magazine, the Awards have been recognising inspired and visionary design for over a decade. Categories span from sustainable design to residential decoration, installation, commercial, and international achievements.

And they’re now calling for entries for 2015 from established and aspiring designers. Entries are due Friday 12 February 2015.

This year sees the introduction of a new category – the Award for Interior Design Impact, recognising the influence of interior design on the business, social, human resource, environmental and/or cultural outcomes of a project. It’s all about how design can change the world (!), whether it’s having a positive effect on profit, sales, and client and staff retention or advancing sustainability…

2013 Residential Decoration | Award: Tribeca Loft- NYC New York, Nexus Designs

The Awards are judged by a host of industry stalwarts. The shortlist will be revealed on Friday 13th (dicey!) of March next year, with the winners destined to bask in glory from the time of the announcement on Friday 15 May 2015.
